Bar i Sklep „u Ani”
Tałty. A bar and a general store in one — the nearest stop when something is missing from the kitchen or nobody feels like cooking.
Bistro Strumyk Marzeń
A bistro on the way towards Mikołajki, a few minutes by car from the house.
Śniadaniówka
Breakfast and coffee, at the entrance to Mikołajki coming from Skorupki, 2.5 km past Tałty. A new place with very good reviews.
Pizza Marconi
Ryn, right on the quay. A family-run trailer serving Neapolitan pizza — their own dough, ingredients from local suppliers.
Rybka u Pana Roberta
Ryn, next to Marconi. Street food prepared on the spot, genuinely fresh. There is no sign outside — Google lists the address only as a fish fry, so the name is worth remembering.
Rybaczówka w Bogaczewie
Bogaczewo, towards Giżycko — a harbour tucked into a bay of Lake Boczne. A family restaurant: no pork cutlet and no pizza on the menu, fresh fish instead. We have been going there for years and it is always just as good — fresh, with service that makes a difference. There are rooms and a marina as well.
Smażalnia ryb przy śluzie Guzianka
A fish fry and smoked Masurian fish by the Guzianka lock, towards Ruciane-Nida. A good destination on a longer trip.
