If you enjoy cycling, you are in a very good place. The house sits directly on the Masurian Cycling Loop (Mazurska Pętla Rowerowa), so you can set off on the trail practically from the doorstep.

Before you set off

  • For a short ride, it is best to choose a simple stretch close to the house.
  • For a longer ride, check the weather in advance and take enough water.
  • If you do not have your own bike, use one of the rentals nearby (contacts below).
  • For families and less experienced riders, choose a route without any pressure on pace or distance.

About the Masurian Cycling Loop

  • The trail is close to 300 km long and links the main towns of Masuria (the Masurian Lake District): Mikołajki, Mrągowo, Ryn, Giżycko, Węgorzewo and Pisz.
  • The route has varied surfaces and difficulty levels — it is worth matching the stretch to your fitness and the time you have.
  • By the house there is a bike rack and a bike pump.
  • After a ride you can use the garden hose to rinse the bike down.
  • Rafał has his own, repeatedly tested route suggestions. Write to us if you would like a specific direction.
